The story of the treasure of Victorio Peak has haunted the Noss family for years; from an incredible discovery deep inside a New Mexico mountain of thousands of gold bars, jewels and other artifacts, estimated to be worth as much as 28 billion dollars, to backstabbing, dirty dealing and murder. Terry Delonas has shouldered the weight of his family’s incredible story since the 1970s, while fighting to get answers and access to finally solve the mystery of the Peak. Right next to Terry for the past 30 years was Alex Alonso with camera, documenting every minute of the quest – from the hallowed halls of the U.S. Capitol to caverns inside the mountain. Together they have amassed a trove of footage, photographs and documents dating all the way back to the 1930s.
Standing in the Noss family’s path is the goliath force of the U.S. Military, who currently occupy Victorio Peak and refuse to grant access, despite Terry’s existing legal mining claim on the site. With his options diminishing, and his health fading, Terry needs the world to know his family’s story, and to do so, he and Alex must set the record straight to finally solve the mystery of the Peak.
Featuring first person present day interviews, paired with hundreds of hours of archival footage, this premium documentary series unpacks the events from Doc and Babe Noss’ discovery of the gold in 1937 to their grandson mounting a massive expedition in the 1990s, and examines a slew of eye witness accounts, murders and an alleged government cover up, connect to the Watergate, multiple U.S. Presidents, and more.
